Does Penny Scout have a drug problem? Penny has readily admitted that she suffers from a variety of physical and mental ailments lending credence to recent rumors that she maybe be addicted to painkillers and taking a dangerous amount of herbal supplements and other prescription medications. “You just never know how these things will combine,” states Dr. Scott Zhivago*.
“Penny should be making sure that none of the drugs interact in harmful ways and be working to cut down on the overall amount. Drugs and supplements do not always get to the root of the problem and are no substitute for a healthy lifestyle.”
These newest allegations came about after Penny was spotted in the bathroom of Tube, a Portland club. The female source says Penny accidentally spilled several pill bottles from her vintage military shoulder bag including one labeled hydrocodone, the generic name for Vicadin. This prescription narcotic has gained popularity in recent years as a recreational drug. It is unknown why or how long Penny has been taking this drug.
Things have been quiet for a few months for Penny’s male counterpart, Urban Scout, whose battle with alcoholism has been well publicized. “Because of his own struggles he may be able to direct her to some valuable resources as well as offer the support she needs to quit an addiction,” states substance abuse counselor, Dr. Curtis Dre.**
Mike Owen N.D., the Scout’s personal friend and naturopath was not available for comment.
